&lt;p>The workshop brought together researchers, microscopy specialists, and biomedical scientists to explore recent advances in three-dimensional optical imaging, confocal microscopy, and emerging microscopy techniques for biomedical research. &lt;p>As part of the scientific programme, &lt;strong>Yiannis Papadopoulos&lt;/strong> delivered the invited lecture:&lt;/p>
&lt;h2 id="imaging-deep-inside-scattering-tissue">&lt;em>Imaging deep inside scattering tissue&lt;/em>&lt;/h2>
&lt;p>The presentation discussed the physical limits imposed by optical scattering in biological tissue and reviewed modern strategies for extending imaging depth. Topics included multiphoton microscopy, adaptive optics, wavefront shaping, and computational approaches for imaging through highly scattering media.&lt;/p>
